Who We Are
MEERA Sansthan is a registered non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organisation headquartered in Jodhpur, with unparalleled field presence and strength in western Rajasthan.
Our name is inspired by Meera Bai, a 15th-century poet-musician known for her revolutionary spirit and her work to break free from patriarchal subjugation. She is an embodiment of strength and character.
Active since 1983, our commitment to the empowerment of girls and women has remained rock solid. All our work focuses on providing support and facilitating women to help themselves through health, education, and livelihood programs.
